It's not like me to just post with an opinion but I really have to get something off my chest.
Are you telling me that it's okay for a teenager to play a video game that sees the main character drive his car into a pedestrian, then get out of the car and beat that person into a pulp so that the blood spurts from his head and pools on the ground? Are you telling me that's alright with everybody?
Are you telling me that in that same video game, that teenage player can walk up behind someone sitting at a bus stop and beat him about the head with a bat so hard that the head tears off, and once that gruesome scene has played out, the player can kick the severed head down the street, and that's okay? Are you really telling me that's alright with everyone?
But, if in that same game, two badly rendered cartoon characters make love, that politicians and parents get so up in arms that the game is pulled from some rental and store shelves? Are you telling me that it took a bit of bumping and moaning to get this game recognized as not fit for the average teenager? Is that what you are saying? Are you f___ing kidding me?
If we want to know just what the hell is wrong in this world we really don't have that far to look. Shame on everyone who turns their head from the sex in this world but not from the violence; your priorities are as screwed up as they could ever be. Shame on you all.
Thanks, I feel a little better now. Not much better mind you.

EXACTLY! This is why I only play sports video games. The excessive violence in movies and games is ridiculous. If this country was more open about sex and nudity, violent sex crimes would decline dramatically - sex would no longer be taboo!
Sex brings you into the world and violence takes you out. There must be some good reason why we choose to embrace the later and not the former.
