Well, I saw this featured on TV this evening, and I think Boing Boing picked it up too. What the heck - it's a great site and you should check it out.
You know those goofy drawings you made as a little kid. Yeah, it was supposed to be your rendition of your little sister but I looked more like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Well Dave Devries has taken drawings from little kids, and rendered them out in his own realistic style. There is a book out of his re-creations and a sequel is in the works. The site offers dates you can catch the artist and quite a few samples of his (er, the kid's) work.
My mother has a chest full of all my old drawings. If I play my cards right, maybe I can make the sequel too.
