Freecorder

I haven't done a free file in a while. Here is one that I like because it works - it just works. There is something so satisfying in that. Freecorder will, at the touch of a button, record whatever is coming in over your speakers; that includes system and program sounds as well.

This is one of those programs that will sit there and do nothing and you will wonder why you bothered and then one day there will be something, a web broadcast, or net meeting and you'll remember why you got it. There is an upgraded version, of course, that allows you to record in a higher bit rate for better output quality, and the ability to record at a specified time but for quick recordings this is the perfect solution.
