Did you get a new computer over the holidays? If so, and you need somewhere to dump the old one, try reBOOT Canada.
I heard about reBOOT from a television show I watch quite regularly and as I understand it, reBOOT is a non profit organization that collects donated hardware and redistributes it to organizations and individuals who otherwise would not have access to the technology. There are dozens such organizations in the States, you need only do a google search to find one in your area, so if you have some older technology sitting around collecting dust, pick it up and drop it off to reBOOT (or like) for redistribution.
